The perspective authors are expected to adhere to the following set of practices to get paper published in IITM Journal:
Authorship: A contribution can be written by more than one author. Submission to IITM Journal of Information Technology means that all authors agree with the contribution and indicate that the contribution consists of original material that is not under copyright elsewhere in any manners. Any previously published material by one of the authors which is included in the contribution must be properly referenced.
Original Material: IITM Journal of Information Technology only publishes original material written by the submitting author(s) and not published, forthcoming or submitted to other publications.
Permissions: Where material is taken from other sources (including their own published writing) authors are responsible for obtaining permission from copyright holders for the reproduction of any illustrations, tables, videos, data, figures or lengthy quotations regardless of whether these appear in the main article or as appendices. Authors must ensure that each source is clearly cited
Plagiarism: IITM Journal of Information Technology checks the submitted articles with plagiarism software. Where an article is found to have plagiarized other work or included third-party copyright material without permission or with insufficient acknowledgement, or where the authorship of the article is contested, IITM reserves the right to reject the paper.
Research Data: All submissions to IITM Journal of Information Technology must be rooted in current ethics of scientific research, including the collection and use of data, preserving the integrity and privacy of subjects participating in research, the reporting of steps taken in the data analysis, and the way in which results are communicated to others in the discipline. The editors reserve the right to decline manuscripts without review.
