Author Guidelines

IITM Journal of Information Technology - (IITM JIT)

  1. Scope and Originality
  2. Manuscripts must present original, unpublished research and should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submissions must align with the journal’s scope and contribute significantly to the relevant field.

  3. Manuscript Submission
  4. Authors should submit their manuscripts through the official journal email editor@itjournaliitmjp.com along with the copyright form. All submissions must include the manuscript file and a signed author consent form.

  5. Manuscript Preparation
    • Papers should be written in clear, concise English.
    • Typical structure: Title, Author(s) (full names, affiliations, and email addresses), Abstract (150-250 words), Keywords (minimum 5 keywords in ascending order), Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, References (Use APA style).

  6. Formatting Requirements
    • Use Times New Roman, 10-point font size for content, 12-point font size for heading and 14-point font size for Title, and single line spacing.
    • Figures and tables must be clearly labeled and referenced in the text.
    • Equations, symbols, and units should follow standard conventions.

  7. Peer Review Process
  8. All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a single-blind peer review by independent experts. Acceptance is based on reviewer recommendations and editorial approval.

  9. Ethical Standards
  10. Authors must adhere to publication ethics, including avoidance of plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate publication. Plagiarism beyond 15% will result in rejection.

  11. Copyright and Licensing
  12. Upon acceptance, authors may be required to transfer copyright to the journal’s licensing policy. Authors must ensure permission for any third-party content used.

  13. Revision and Final Submission
  14. Authors must submit revised manuscripts within the stipulated timeframe, clearly addressing reviewer comments. Failure to comply may lead to rejection.

  15. DOI and Indexing
  16. Accepted papers will be published with a DOI and considered for indexing as per the journal’s policy.
